Q. When is a Cake a Torte?

Q: Yeah, who gives?

Victoria brought in this Andre's torte to rehearsal for the Owen Cox Dance Group premiere piece we are doing this weekend (ah, la! a premiere, so flippant...no big deal) called the "Lewis and Carroll Expedition", a mashup of The Lewis and Clark Expidition and Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland... Soup, mosquitoes and hookas all in this fun setting.

I'm also singing a few other pieces including Brad's Lullabies. It's a joyous time for me!!

If you have known me for some time, you know about the 'cake diet' and the many cakes I have loved over the years.

This particular TORTE (whatevah) from Andre's is l'ish.as in Deelish. As you hopefully can see there are multiple flavors in the cake/torte collection that Victoria curated for us. I'm not a pink person, I'm just not built to like pink all that much, but the pink version was unh-hunh yummy.

Before you go off thinking, "Ah! That's what I need to get Nathan!" Refrain from your enthusiasm. I'm just like you, I cannot resist. But you know, may as well strap it on my thigh.

...But where would the fun be in that?
