The Chips Fly
Yep, it's in the air, Mr. Rummy is gone. "Cheney and Rumsfield are doing a great job", Bush said. (sic). But he was in the process of firing the guy he told was doing a great job.
I guess his saving grace was trying to find a "new perspective", in that, the words used, allowed the administration to fire the man responsible for botching this War on Terror.
My view is that all of the Administration are accountable, even with the realignment of the House and possibly (at this time) the Senate, there still is one more vote needed to be cast, and that is in 2008.
I want everyone to be able to work with each other. My life is about bringing people together...as a mixed race person, part African American and part Caucasian, my physical makeup, genetic design is totally Ameican. Bringing people together to work through differences of opinion and idiology and heck, why not, even race.
My experience is that as far as race goes, Americans have more of a homogenous social experience than not. Even the differences between rich folks, who are of different race are more mainstreamed than not.
The poor, well that's another story. In poverty, the conservative traditions passed down through the years as oral and written history, remain staunch, yet also retains an important facet in our collective history as a social populace in The United States of America.
We are pleased. This makes a totally new day, A better day, and gives us hope.
Hope, was simply something of the past. I truly felt like there was no way for this country to go back to where we all can get along. Where we all can host a myriad of topics of discussion. We can respond to the moral issues, but also, we can respond to the issues of governance.
Buchanan, said, "The Decider, decided."
indeed my friends...indeed.
But more than that. WE the PEOPLE decided.
God Bless America.
