Russia, Perm Pre-Ramble Part @ 2

Who Knew about Perm? Really. Not many outside of Russia for sure and then, not many, period. During the cold war, it was like Beijing, a forbidden city. The place where armaments and weapons for the buildup between the east and west occured. When Reagan siad, "Mr Gorbachev...Tear down that wall!" he also said out of the side of his mouth "...oh and could you take that little yellow post it off of your map?"

KaPow! There was a town of about a million people (now more than a million) suddenly existing ot the rest of the world. A town the size of Kansas City, just appearing...as if by magic. oooooh.

The Eastern most city before you hit Siberia. Damn. what a trip, it's barely halfway into Russland.
