There are some perks to singing.
How about performing for 50-70 Thousand people at a time and being part of something new.

WaterFire was soooo cool. I not only sang, but also got to carry one of the torches to light the event fires.

It's not about bragging. I mean people with real jobs get vacation pay and contribute to Social Security pretty regularly and will have retirement money coming in...etc.

For folks like me, we get to do this as a job. "Hey honey, I got to sing in front of fifty thousand people today..."

"That's great dear."

It's a weird existence and fun. We'll do it again Oct 13 on the Plaza. Maybe I will be singing in a boat next time, that'd be cool.
