A Crying Shame

January is my bleeding heart month. TO be honest, there are so many things we need to work on on this flying blue marble. Murder, terror, violence to human and animal are all things we need to work on. I don't know if there's a "getting to the bottom of it" kind of solution, but maybe if we realize that we are all more the same than we are different, and that we all are hurtling through space at a great velocity, with sure, God, out there overseeing things, but if that omniscient doesn't step up, we certainly have to do so. Many already are deeply invloved with the struggle for balance, and have been for more time than I've been alive and many of you, dear readers...The question is, what are we prepared to do?

How much proxy is needed? At some point you will be in this person's shoes, mourning the loss of a loved one or a mentor or a leader, but then it will be too late. And when it does, if it does, I pray it does not happen to you, you will be standing up on the corner trying to tell the world yes! This DOES happen, but they will be just like you were, we were, just passing by, denying it will happen, ignoring the wrought emotion and desperate words, hoping it will not happen to you, us... And the cycle continues.

Sometimes I feel crushed by the pain of even the briefest contact with these horors. I don;t know where to start.

Praying to receive strength to go out and do instead of hoping something will happen is one thing.
More later.
