"Then" and "Than" top ten examples of right and wrong

We need to have a corrective interview over grammar. Please, I'm telling you, this mistake is becoming so prevalent in modern (online) useage, there may be a cognative shift coming, redefining the words and their syntax.

The problem is 'when to use Then' and 'Than'.

Actually, it may be better to say, when to never use these words in a credible sentence...

First: Please never again use "Better then", as a comparative word/phrase that reflects to the reader something has more value than another thing.

  1. Tommy's shoes are better THAN Deepak's - this is CORRECT.
  2. Tommy's shoes are better THEN Deepak's - this is INCORRECT
...the following is a small conversation based upon the preceeding topic of Tommy and Deepak's shoes...

"If Tommy's shoes are better, THEN why are Deepak's shoes made of gold?"

"Well, Tommy's shoes are made from magical flying powder THEN sealed with a gore-tex lining and platinum insoles."

"THEN indeed, Tommy's shoes must be better THAN Deepak's."

"Dude! Deepak just shot Tommy and THEN the jerk stole his f!@#ing flying shoes!"

"Did you see that? Deepak, shot Tommy in the back THEN, pulled out his machette and cut the shoes straight off of Tommy's motherf!@#ing feet!"

"Dayummm, this is better THAN seeing Ron get smoked out of his house after he took those Geishas hostage...last Tuesday."

...Following are some links that we will turn into a game. Read the descriptive and choose correct or incorrect, the links will then either take you to the corresponding url, or will take you elswhere. Have fun THEN!
