Thanksgiving...and Taking

Totally had an amazing T-Day. Cloved Turkey, Panade, Cranberry Pucker Plate, Cali Wine, Root Vegetable Medley, Cheese Broccoli, Pumpkin Fluff, Pumpkin Pie...oh and ten of KC's Finest chasing down the guy that broke into the house a couple doors down...in our back yard!!!!!!!!

Right at the same time as the Plaza Lights were coming on, like seven cruisers silently pull up outside, flashers on in an instant like a firework of red blue and white; out spill police into the frigid air giving chase to a massive burglar.

He sprinted over neighbors fence, but slipped and smashed his mug on the pavement. Making it through our yard, he was finally apprehended next door.

We watched the aftermath, pie in hand, in shock, bemusement and not a little pride in our cops bringing down the huge robber who would break-in to folks houses on Thanksgiving.

Regret? Not enough pie to give to all the officers...there were a lot.
